How Does Profit Profiler Work

Assume you have a business situation that you need to quantify e.g. who are my least profitable brokers, what is it costing me to process orders, how much time are we spending supporting new product introductions etc.

Using a simple Excel template you define the characteristics of the situation you wish quantified e.g. staff involved, products serviced, brokers supported, tasks performed etc. These are called the Project Prompts:

In the Excel template you can also emulate what the data collection process look like to your end users using the appropriate measurement technique for your needs. This allows you to verify that all situations are covered by your Project.

The Excel template also allows you to define the staff participating in the Project and optionally define your key cost drivers i.e. hours, labor rates and overhead rates Upon completion the Excel Project template is e-mailed to us and published to the web.

Every morning you will receive daily updates via e-mail detailing activity on your project for your internal monitoring purposes. The first report will be a Daily Status Report showing all a  cost, transaction and by user activity summary:

In addition the daily e-mail package also includes summarized reports of project activity to date (see below), plus all transaction data is provided to you in Access and Excel formats ready for your immediate internal use.
