If a user signs into Profit Profiler within seven days of the project start date set by the Project Administrator then they will be able to access a training version of the software which allows them to use all the functions of the system but will not save any activity transactions to the database. This creates an ideal training environment where they can take as much time as required to familiarize themselves with the tools and the options defined be the Project Administrator.

In Profit Profiler, the Activity Logging training environment is exactly the same as the live system.

Common Activities

In Profit Profiler's Activity Sampling training mode the differences from the live application are as follows:

  1. In the live application a user will only make entries 3 or 4 times per hour. In the training environment a user will be able to emulate entries being made 2 or 3 times per minute. Again no entries will be saved to the database so it is an ideal training environment.

  2. On the Countdown screen you will see a message:

    Sample will begin in 00.nn

Where nn will be a reducing number of seconds.

This allows the user to see the relationship between the countdown random times and the prompts for data entry. In data entry area users will have 2 minutes to make entries with a warning prompt and audio reminder when they have 30 seconds to go, i.e. after 90 seconds, if  no entry has been made.

  3. In the Auto Recording Setup Screen if you scroll to the very bottom of the dropdown for the Auto Record Minutes you will find a value of 1 minute.

Selecting this value will allow the user to test the auto record function and quickly return to the normal processing without having to wait the minimum 15 minute period.
