It is very likely that you will encounter the same activities again and again as your perform your work. To avoid having to make the same activity selections repeatedly you can identify and save to Profit Profiler the activities you commonly perform and save them for rapid, one click recall using the Common Activities section of the tracking screen.

 

In addition to your own job specific tasks, other common activities that may wish to configure ahead of time would be lunch breaks, staff meetings etc. 

 

To add a common activity first make the appropriate Activity Selection for that task. When you are sure your selection represent the activity click the Add button. A textbox will appear immediately below the button.  

 

   

Enter in this textbox a general description whereby you will identify the activity selection you have made. 

 

 

 

 

Click Save to add the description to the list of your common activities. The textbox you entered the description into will disappear and the list will expand to fill the full area. If you wish to abort the entry of the description click the Cancel button.  

 

 

   

To use one of your common activities simply click on its description in the list and the saved entries will automatically populate the activity selection section of the screen. To delete a common activity click on the descriptive than click the Remove button.

 

Common Activities are automatically saved to the project on the web for your use as required.
